Movie Review – Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa

Super ridiculous movie we have here!

Total waste of money to watch in the theater; totally feel that i am wasting my time by every minute, seconds even while watching it…

A “jackass” grandpa is given a task to bring his grandson back to his father. During this “road trip”, i would say its a disaster! Oh did i mention that he did not buried his wife and he decided to bring her corpse along this trip?!?! isn’t it ridiculous? Grandpa who flirts and behave like an asshole is definitely a bad influence for kids. But it is only NC16 in Singapore?!? it is no longer about sex but more on coarse language – everything that is wrong and you shouldn’t do it. Get what i mean? If i ever see this guy in front of me, i will either gives him a dragger stare or call him crazy and walked off!

Some unbelievable actions – like peeing in a can drink machine and got your penis struck inside? like shipping your grandson in a box like a package? like drinking marker ink? like openly steal and eat the unpaid items in a supermarket? like asking asking his grandson to lie? … and more.

I am seriously not sure about you but i ain’t gonna watch a second time! I like intellectual comedy or maybe stupid comedy but definitely not jackass comedy. There is a difference!

Gym Review – Fitness First (Changi – UE Biz Hub)

my first visit but definitely not my last visit…

Kinda different from the rest of the outlets – you do not collect your locker key and towels at the reception counter. The towel counter is located further down towards the dressing rooms. It is like a hidden counter, i didn’t notice it when i walk pass the first time. gosh ~ oh well besides that they do provide t-shirt and shorts to change! oh another note – there is no basket to collect used towels in the changing rooms. You will have to bring their used clothes and towel back to the same counter to collect your FF card.

Offset is that this outlet do not have sauna and steam. *hpmf* not enough space i suppose? Their layout is like a rectangle. They have a good spread of cardio choices and decent strength machines. This will be good enough for business executives i suppose. But it will be even better if give the space permits they can have more facilities and equipments. There is only one GX room where they held all the lessons. Pretty quiet when i am there. I would sure like to visit there again… but perhaps i will spend more time on cardio =)

Movie Review – Thanks For Sharing

Addiction refers to the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to suchan extent that its cessation causes severe trauma.

Here it is about sex addiction – come to think about it, perhaps there are people who are really suffering from sex addiction – peeping, having sex, thinking about sex – not at their own will. How would i say? More like lack of self-control. It’s pretty hard to control your mind with it has been controlling your thoughts. Till that day they can fully control themselves, that’s where they will feel confident and shine their charm again… perhaps this is how they – or rather i would us everyone – can give a shot shot to love and happiness.

A movie that touches your heart coz its truly a day-n-life scenario…

Movie Review – Police Story 2013

This time round – no longer criminals running around the street thinking of how to rob a bank, rescue their big boss, steal the most dangerous item that can conquer or destroy the world – and the police will have to save the day!

Pretty much of a big deal revenge by this brother  who wants to find out who is the one that causes his sister’s death… he created a scene and capture everyone who is there at that point of time.. well not much to disclose otherwise it wouldn’t be excited to watch…

Then again, in any case, it is a movie that i wouldn’t recommend to watch in theater – waste of money, least for me – i got turned off by one the accent of the movie “so ci-na”, two got turned off by the actions “its wasn’t wow”, three literally bored me –

Simply love the play from W!LD Rice… they have showed me a whole new world of all fairy tales, without fail. This time its Jack & the Bean-Sprout!

Jack and his poor mother Widow Neo lived in a hdb flats – barely able to foot their bills with loansharks chasing after them yet still can go RWS gamble wor ~ very localise play ~ feel so home with all the singlish and terms used in the play!

The details of the play shall not be said more… its a play worth to catch and find out the ending yourself… The play is still showing till 14 Dec 2013!!! Catch it if you haven’t!

Movie Review – The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

I am duper excited to catch the Hunger Games part 2 coz part 1 is simply damn good! It really caught me thinking whether is there such a thing happening somewhere out there? Like people are captured and kept in these districts as slaves and forced to play these games just to survive?

Well… Katniss Everdeen returned home safe after winning the game with her fellow tribute Peeta Mellark… her victory has given the people from all districts “hope”, “rebellion” – its time to fight for your own rights… Katniss and Peeta went around all the districts for their victory tour as a “couple”… young love-birds… President Snow sees the reaction from his people from the district and he wants to teach them a lesson and want them to be obedience again… He discussed with the game master and they decides that this year – the pick will be from the winners themselves of each districts…  its a nightmare for all winners and they are forming alliance…

Show is still awesome BUT BUT BUT!!!! there is no ending and i can’t wait for the next episode which is like next year!!! OMG!!! shitty feel ~

Movie Review – About Time

Its All About Time ~

What happens if one fine day your dad tells you that you have the natural power to travel through time!!! I suppose i will be like “hell yea thats not funny dad, and it aint april’s fool… ” but in this movie… it happens…

Tim’s father tell him that the men in their family have the ability to travel through time but one thing that he or rather they can’t do is to change the history but he can definitely change what happens and what will happened in his own life – of coz his decision may affect other people’s life but it sure gonna make his world a better place.. dun you think so? But sometimes you got to make a harsh decision… i can’t forget the scene that his sister got into a drink and drive accident. She was badly badly injured; he wants to stop this incident to happen he brought his sister back in time and avoid her meeting the asshole of her life and meet someone special someone who really cares and adores her… but by doing that his life changes.. he went home and found his daughter gone; she never exists; in return he has a son but he has no memory of him at all… its tough decision huh – save ur sister ; lose your daughter… oh well if i were him i would do the same too – went back to see his sister badly injured but what he did to make her life better is to persuade her to leave that guy and lead her to the “actual” fated love… orh ~ well departure is the hardest thing that can happen to one even though he has this power he can’t change the history he can’t bring one back to life… its a sad ending –

What happened? I leave you for you to catch the ending yourself!!! its definitely worthing watching! ^_^

Stage Performance Review – The Penis Society (Stand Up Comedy)

The Penis Society, an original standup comedy about Male Singaporeans. The show starts from 10 till 29 September 2013. This 1-hr performance is held at Aquanova – a restaurant cum club at Clarke Quay.

The stage up comedy is surrounded by kinky topics like where is our fav sex location, poetry on how i become a man, etc… its seriously hilarious…. only disappointment for this show is that its too SHORT!!! Indeed, my frens enjoy the performance too but kept asking me if there’s more of such shows – sex appeal works i guess ~

Movie Review – Prisoners

Every parent’s worst nightmare – child missing.

A dilapidated RV, missing boy case from ages ago, a maze, an old couple who wants to kidnapped all children, child with no IQ thought this is purely a game but the fact is… it a battle between life and death as the clock continue to tick….

its a super long – 2hrs movie… draggy perhaps but i thought the story flows in well =) not scared but thriller… i shouldn’t spoil the movie by telling any further – use all the clues and solve the puzzle… but dun be too slow!

But one thing i dun understand – why “prisoners”? erm …
