Don’t know where to hang out at night? Here’s a dessert place for you!
The Cheesecake Cafe
Like the shop’s title, they sell cheesecakes. It’s located at the beginning of the East Coast Road. Got to look carefully if not you might just missed the turn to park your car. I been there twice and frankly till now i’m still not sure where is the carpark? Or is there one? I will just parked illegally along the private estates. LOL. Got to keep an eye for the “auntie”. You wouldn’t want to pay “extra” for this dessert treat. LOL. And its pretty comfortable sitting outside the cafe too. They have fans on the floor, so its not hot or warm at all. The cafe is decorated with lots and lots of printings and sculptures, creating royal house atmosphere. Sofas available too. I tried their Strawberry Oreo Cheesecake & Brownie Cheesecake. OMG I love the Brownie Cheesecake. Must Try! Must Try!… Heard good comments for Strawberry Orea Cheesecake but i thought its so-so as compared to Brownie Cheesecake. LOL. Just one thingy about the cafe. Don’t have high expectations on their customer service. I been there twice. First time, sitting outside the cafe, the waitress seems to be very impatient while taking our orders. Not very friendly. The second time, sitting inside the cafe, the bosses seems to be very friendly, always smiling to customers but the waiter and waitress seems have pretty “black face”. The aura between the bosses and staff seems to be pretty negative, heard the bosses lecturing the staff or talking to them in a crude way. Not very nice i thought. Especially the customers are so near to them. While other than that, i’m pretty fine coming back again to try other cheesecakes. ^_^
