Sugar Granny Cafe 老甜婆
The cafe is located near Outram MRT and New Majestic Hotel. Shophouses building. Parking is kinda inconvenient with limited lots. The name of the shop gave me an impression of a non-aircon, very old furniture, old paintings… but it wasn’t. Indeed they have old deco but it is blend with modern deco as well like the sofas etc. Found an interesting sign that states “Strictly No Smoking Outside Food”, that’s so corny. They have fried snacks and street desserts. I have not tried everything on the menu, but at the moment felt that all are GOOD! Loved the Boneless Chicken Wings, Black Sesame, Orh-ni, Sticky Muah Chee, Little Fried Bun and their Icy Drinks!!! (*omg feel like going back right now…) There aren’t any “real” food over there but they actually collaborate with the zi-cha stall next door. You may ask for the menu from the staff at Sugar Granny Cafe. They will help you order and you can enjoy the meal at the cafe. The prices are normal, maybe for some slightly higher by around $1. Their customer service is good too, servers are friendly! Go check it out yourself. ^_^
